- Nuttallburg Coal Tipple & conveyor, built 1923-24. At this time the Fordson Coal Company ran the mine - Henry Ford was attempting vertical integration & needed coal to power his factories. Nuttallburg, WV
- The New River Gorge Bridge (& now National Park). Completed in 1977, it was the world's longest single-span arch (1,700 ft) bridge for 26 years, and still is outside of China. Lansing/Fayetteville, WV
